How do I fold my Vista V3?

Put the brake on, turn the toddler seat to face forward in its second most upright position, squeeze both handlebar triggers and push the handlebar forward and down until the frame locks.

Before you fold

Take off anything that is not the toddler seat: the bassinet, a RumbleSeat or a Mesa capsule. A PiggyBack board folds up against the frame and can stay on.

Folding the Vista V3

  1. Put the brake on, check the front wheel locks are off and keep the basket light. The frame will not fold properly with the front wheels locked or a heavy basket.
  2. Raise the handlebar to its highest position.
  3. Turn the toddler seat to face forward, away from you, recline it to the second most upright position and close the canopy. The Vista V3 will not fold with the seat facing you.
  4. Squeeze both fold triggers, one under each end of the handlebar, at the same time.
  5. Holding the triggers, push the handlebar forward and down. The frame folds in on itself and the auto-lock catches with a click.
  6. Stand it up. The Vista V3 stands on its own when folded, seat on or off.

For a flatter fold

For a small boot or a plane, take the seat off first using the release buttons on its sides.

To unfold

  1. Release the auto-lock latch on the side of the frame.
  2. Lift the handlebar up and back until the frame clicks open. Check for the click.
  3. Put the bassinet or seat back on.
  4. Take the brake off last.

If the fold sticks

It is usually the seat, so check it faces forward in the second most upright position. Otherwise check the front wheel locks are off and nothing is left in the basket. A worn locking latch can be replaced: lodge a request to order one. A free Tune-Up Day will check the fold for you.

Good to know

Seat facing forward A seat facing you, or in the wrong recline, is the most common reason the fold sticks. Face it forward in the second most upright position before you squeeze the triggers.
