How do I keep my pram serviced, and what are Tune-Up Days?

Give your pram a ten-minute check once a season, and bring it to a free Tune-Up Day for a check, clean and adjust by our team.

Once a season: the ten-minute check

  • Put the brake on and try to roll the pram.
  • Open and close the fold and listen for a clean click.
  • Tug each harness strap.
  • Spin each wheel and look for wobble.
  • Check the screws and rivets on the frame are tight and nothing has worked loose.
  • Check the bumper bar release and the seat recline.

If something is not right

Anything loose, stiff or squeaking is usually grit: rinse the wheels and brake with water and let them dry. If anything does not lock, or part of the frame is cracked or bent, stop using the pram and lodge a request.

Free Tune-Up Days

Bring your pram to a Tune-Up Day and the team will check, clean and adjust the brakes, wheels, harness, fold and canopy. It is free, takes about fifteen minutes, and anyone with an UPPAbaby pram can come. Spots are limited, so book ahead.

This is part of Lifetime Service Support: complimentary maintenance checks for up to ten years from the original purchase date. It passes to a second owner as long as the pram has not previously been deemed unsafe. The warranty does not transfer.

  • Included: inspection and basic adjustment, as often as you need it.
  • Not included: replacement parts, major repairs, and repairs for wear and tear or misuse.

Worn or failed parts

A part that has worn out can be bought as a spare part. A part that failed early may be a warranty claim.

Use only genuine UPPAbaby parts. A part made by another maker may not be safe on your pram.

Good to know

No oil or lubricant Do not use oil or lubricant spray on the pram. It attracts grit and makes it worse. A squeak that survives a rinse is a job for a Tune-Up Day.
