No. Only car capsule adapters made and tested by UPPAbaby are approved for UPPAbaby prams. Using another maker's adapter may damage your pram and, in serious cases, injure your child.
Adapters from other makers
There are adapters on the market, not made by UPPAbaby, that claim to attach a car capsule to an UPPAbaby pram. Only the upper and lower car capsule adapters made and tested by UPPAbaby are approved for use on our prams.
Repairs and modifications carried out by a third party void the warranty on the product.
The UPPAbaby Mesa capsule
- Vista V3, Cruz V3 and Kona: clicks straight onto the frame, no adapter.
- Minu V3: needs the Minu V3 Mesa adapter.
- Minu Duo: needs the Minu Duo Mesa adapters.
- Ridge V2: needs the Ridge Mesa/Bassinet adapters.
Capsules from other brands
Only the Vista V3, Cruz V3, Ridge V2 and Kona take a capsule from another brand, with the matching UPPAbaby adapter, and only these models:
- Maxi-Cosi Mico AP / Mico Plus
- Maxi-Cosi Citi
- Maxi-Cosi Mico 12 and Mico 12LX (manufactured after 20 April 2022)
- Nuna PIPA
- Nuna KLIK Plus
- Joie i-Gemm
- Britax B-Pod (Vista V3, Cruz V3 and Ridge V2; not the Kona)
- Britax B-Pod Lite (Vista V3, Cruz V3 and Ridge V2; not the Kona)

Good to know
Similar is not the same If your capsule is not on the approved list, it is not supported, even if it looks similar. The Minu V3 and Minu Duo take only the Mesa. The older Minu V2 takes Maxi-Cosi Mico AP / Mico Plus, Mico 6 and Mico 12, Maxi-Cosi Mico 12 LX made from 20 April 2022, Nuna PIPA, Nuna KLIK Plus and Joie i-Gemm with the Minu V2 Car Seat Adapter, and the Mesa with the Minu bassinet adapters. CYBEX capsules and the Bugaboo Turtle are not supported on any UPPAbaby frame.
