Pack it in the UPPAbaby Vista and Cruz travel bag, and register the bag and your pram under the TravelSafe Program before you fly. Without TravelSafe, airline damage is not covered by the warranty.
The travel bag
One bag fits the Vista (all versions) and the Cruz (all versions), folded with the seat on, plus one bassinet or one seat beside it. Anything more needs the separate RumbleSeat or Bassinet Travel Bag. The bag has wheels at one end, so it rolls through the terminal like a suitcase.
Packing
The video below shows the Vista going into the bag.
- Fold with the seat on: seat facing forward in its second most upright position, canopy closed, then squeeze both triggers and push forward.
- Lay the pram in the bag on its side, with the wheels at the wheeled end and the handlebar towards the opening.
- If you are taking a bassinet or a RumbleSeat, put one of them in beside the frame. A bassinet goes on its base with the canopy folded down. A RumbleSeat folds flat, and its adapters go in the inside pocket. A second item goes in the RumbleSeat or Bassinet Travel Bag.
- Zip the bag, pull the compression straps and put your name on the tag.
Register under TravelSafe
- Find the TravelSafe label inside the bag. It carries a serial number.
- Before you depart, register both the bag and the pram on the TravelSafe registration form.
- Travel with the pram in the bag. Keep your boarding passes and baggage receipts.
If the pram is damaged
Lodge a request marked TravelSafe within 14 days of travel. Full details are on the TravelSafe Program page.

Good to know
