How do I look after the leather on my pram?

Modified on Fri, 2 Oct at 7:22 AM
A Vista V3 parked on cobblestones beside outdoor steps where a girl puts on her shoes next to her mum.

Wipe it with a clean, damp cloth when it needs it. Do not use leather conditioner.

About the leather

The handlebar and bumper bar are covered in real leather, so the part you hold all day wears in rather than out. Over time the leather will naturally age and develop a patina.

Care

  • Clean only when needed, with a clean, damp cloth.
  • Scuffs: lightly rub the mark with your fingers. The natural oils in the leather often buff out small scuffs.
  • Clean the leather while it is on the pram, so it does not stretch or lose its shape.
  • Do not dry it in the sun.

Wear and replacement

Damage or degradation caused by sun, sweat, detergents or damp storage is not covered by the warranty. A worn bumper bar cover can be replaced; see spare parts.

Good to know

No leather conditioner Leather conditioner makes the handlebar and bumper bar slippery. A damp cloth is all it needs.
