The canopy fabric and basket fabric come off for cleaning and can be replaced as spare parts. Keep the basket within the weight limit for your model: 13.6 kg on the Vista V3 and Cruz V3, and 9.1 kg on the Minu V3. Parts are version specific, so photograph the white label near the rear axle before you order.
Taking the canopy off and refitting it
All the fabrics on the Vista V3, Cruz V3 and Minu V3 come off, including the canopy. UPPAbaby's own videos below show how to take the canopy fabric off and put it back on each model.
If you still need help, lodge a request and tell us your model and version from the white label near the rear axle. Our Melbourne team replies within one business day. The canopy is also checked at every free Tune-Up Day.
Extending the canopy
The Vista V3 has an extendable UPF 50+ sun canopy, and the Cruz V3 has the same canopy with the extending sun visor. The Minu V3 canopy extends with a zip-out panel. Your manual, on the product manuals page, shows how to open and extend it.
How much the basket holds
- Vista V3: 13.6 kg. It is the largest basket in the range and you can reach it from either side, even with the seat facing you.
- Cruz V3: 13.6 kg. It is reachable from either side too, but smaller in volume than the Vista.
- Minu V3: 9.1 kg.
Looking after the basket
Overloading and dragging are what wear a basket out, so check the limit for your model and keep heavy bags off the handlebar. Take heavy items out of the basket before you fold the pram.
Basket fabric: spot clean or hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, then dry it flat in the shade. Canopy fabric: spot clean with a damp cloth and do not soak it. Never machine wash, bleach, iron, dry clean or tumble dry either one.
Basket cover
The Vista V2, V3 Basket Cover fits the Vista V2 and Vista V3 only. It is water resistant, flips open at the front and back, and the pram folds with it on.
Replacing a canopy or basket
Canopies and baskets can be replaced. They are version specific: a Cruz V2 canopy does not fit a Cruz V3, and the Vista V2 and Cruz V2 canopy fabrics will not fit the V3 models. Parts for older models are on the spare parts page. For a Vista V3, Cruz V3 or Minu V3 canopy or basket, lodge a request and we will order it for you.
- Fold the pram and photograph the white label on the underside of the frame near the rear axle. It shows the model, the version and the serial number.
- Photograph the canopy or basket and where it attaches.
- Lodge a request with both photos so we can confirm the right part before you order.
Wear or warranty?
A canopy that has faded after a few summers is normal wear, because sun damage is not covered by the warranty, and a replacement canopy is the answer. The same goes for a basket worn through by overloading or dragging. A part that failed early or in an odd way may be a manufacturing fault, which is covered for three years. Make a warranty claim with your proof of purchase showing the retailer and date, the serial number, and daylight photos of the fault plus one of the whole pram.
Good to know
Photograph the label first Canopies and baskets change between versions and often look alike. A photo of the white label near the rear axle tells us exactly which part fits your pram.
